Every Momento trunk is cut, formed, and built by hand, one at a time, in Boyd, Wisconsin, in a workshop that has been building trunks for nearly four decades. Its dual-layer construction, a powder-coated steel exterior over a cabinet-grade plywood core, is made for the decades after the occasion, not just the day itself.
Personalization happens here too. Every name, date, and monogram is embroidered in our own shop, stitched into the lid lining, and mounted on its own panel so it lies flat and smooth. It’s the part of the trunk they’ll see every time they open it, so it gets the same care as the steel and plywood around it.
